How it started…
I was inspired to create the Bootstrap Movement brand and logo after listening to an interview with MLK. He shared after slavery was abolished Black people were told to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. It was crazy for such a comment to be made concerning a people who had no boots. Hence the Bootstrap Movement. We are pulling ourselves up by our own bootstraps.
